Location
The Summer School in Global History takes place at the beautiful Sandbjerg Estates in the Southern part of Denmark, about 7 km northwest of Sønderborg. It is located about 15 minutes by taxi from Sønderborg train station. The venue is in the middle of a scenic area and provides a stimulating environment for vivid discussions and the exchange of ideas.
Participants should arrive at Sandbjerg by 5 PM on the first evening in time for dinner and introductions. Accommodation in single, ensuite rooms at Sandbjerg is provided for 3 nights, as well as all meals during the stay (including dinner on the evening of arrival, and both breakfast and a small lunch on the day of departure). The costs for accommodation and food are included in the fee for attendance at the summer school.
